By encouraging waste management of 200,000 kilograms of plastic in 2021, it will focus on the waste management and recycling systems in Gilgit and Hunza, and eventually produce 1,000 tons by 2025, making the area waste-free and Promoting Sustainable Tourism Industry in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Brief Detail Of Nestle&#8217;s Clean Gilgit and Hunza Project<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Muhammed Ali Randhawa, Minister of the<strong> Interior of the Gilgit-Baltistan Government<\/strong>, commented on his views: \u201cGiven the way Nestl\u00e9 plays a responsible role, we encourage companies and private sector entities to move forward. Our vision is that Any of the packaging (including plastic) will not enter the landfill or the ocean, lakes, and rivers. Earlier this year, <strong>Nestl\u00e9 Pakistan<\/strong> also installed two waste plastic compression packaging machines in Hunza and Gilgit respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0These compressed bonds were transported downstream for recycling. In addition, Nestl\u00e9 Pakistan also donated reusable bags to the<strong> district councils of Gilgit and Hunza<\/strong> to distribute to the communities. &#8220;The handling of packaging waste requires teamwork, and we are committed to finding improved solutions to reduce, reuse, and recycle waste.
